ANNA CARBONI JOINS REDD
Simon, Sara and Charters are delighted to announce that Anna Carboni joined the firm as a partner on 1 January 2012.
Anna focuses on IP litigation and advice, with a particular emphasis on trade marks, designs and copyright. She has a significant client following and brings to Redd over 20 years' experience and a considerable reputation as an intellectual property lawyer. She has substantial advocacy expertise, having qualified as a Solicitor Advocate in 2000 and more recently spending seven years as an independent barrister.
Alongside her client practice, as an Appointed Person under the Trade Marks Act 1994, Anna adjudicates trade mark disputes in the UK Intellectual Property Office. She is also a Member of the Expert Review Group which deals with appeals under Nominet's dispute resolution service, as well as being a CEDR Accredited Mediator and on INTA's Panel of Neutrals.
A recognised IP expert, Anna has recently been appointed to the Board of INTA; for several years she has been on the Editorial Boards of both the Journal of IP Law & Practice and the European Trade Mark Reports; and she is a regular speaker at IP conferences.
Sara, Simon and Charters say:
"We have known Anna for many years, we respect her professional ability and, importantly, we like her. We have no doubt that she will fit in well with us and will contribute greatly to our growing IP practice."
Anna says:
"I am delighted to be joining Redd. The firm has a great client list and an excellent team. I expect 2012 to be a very interesting and exciting year for all of us."
